Wake Induced Lucid Dream
When while using the WILD technique, people go from increasingly being awake, directly in the dreaming state. That’s why it can be called Wake Induced Lucid Dream
The secret is to recognise the hypnagogic state and stay conscious although it develops in wish images. You will then be ready to literaly step into your dream world.

The hypnagogic state occurs to the border between awakening and sleeping. It can also be anything from colorful dots to flashes of color and also complete images. As you keep paying attention to it they will develop into more detailed images of course, if you stay aware you will find yourself inside ones dream.

WILD in 3 easy steps

1 : Relax
The hypnagogic stage occurs when you are relaxed. So first you need to do a relaxation exersise.

Feel yourself sucking in and out. Breathe in and tense the muscles to your feet. Breathe out and relax the muscles of your feet. Breathe in and tense the muscles in your lower legs. Breathe out and calm down them again. Go on until you have come to your head.

2 – Be aware
The next measure is staying sensitive, and not drifting off. Ways to try this are:

Counting 1 : I’m dreaming, 2 – I’m dreaming, 3 – I’m dreaming, etc.
Paying focus on yourself breathing, although counting every air in and available.
Imagining yourself going for walks down stairs, keeping track of every step.
A combination of all of the above.
3 : Enter your dream
If you succeed in staying aware your hypnagogic images may become clearer. You will suddenly possess a feeling it’s simple to step into ones dream. This is very hard to illustrate. The word that will comes close is “knowingness”

With this knowingness it is possible to grab an object you observe before you or zoom in while on an image. This will pull you in the dream.

Keep practising
The hardest thing is to stay aware not drifting off to help sleep. If people don’t succeed, always keep trying. WILD can take a moment to master but it surely is worth it.

Experienced WILDers might reach this state but without the counting – these people just relax, keep watching the hypnagogic images and consciously enter the dreaming state.
